Henry David Thoreau is frequently quoted for stating that, “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”
Standing on the shoulders of Thoreau I would like to add the following: Almost as common are a mass of men whose lives are filled with great accomplishment, success and achievement. They contribute and receive at societies highest levels, obtain some of life’s finest treasures, partake of some of the finest things life has to offer, and then retire to their grave without even a moments realization of who and what they truly were.
I have dedicated my life to helping people with not only their true aspirations, but to a more awakened and profoundly deep understanding and experience of life. It is for this reason I have created Awaken Beyond.
When I was 24 years old a mentor introduced me to the fields of personal development and personal enlightenment. It forever changed my life.
My studies presented me with many different perspectives on life, and insights that began assisting me in the formulation and never-ending evolution of my life’s philosophies.
While my studies originated in the fields of motivation, success, and achievement, I was quickly drawn to something that felt much deeper to me. A few of the teachers were sharing not mere strategies for more success and achievement in life, but much deeper and much more profound ways of understanding and experiencing life itself. That was the igniting spark for me.
Many of my early teachers such as Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Stuart Wild, Ram Dass and others pointed to a much different direction, within. It was then that the direction of my life’s explorations took a dramatic turn.
These newly discovered teachers were presenting me with entirely new ways of interpreting and understanding life. They held expanded perspectives on life, and spoke about such things as awakening, enlightenment, and connecting to and living from a much deeper place.
I knew then what I was to devote my life to, and I invite you to be a part of awakening to not only your true self, but life’s deeper order, and your highest sense of purpose. Welcome.
*Our logo demonstrates the balance between opposites. At the core of the identity is a sine wave. The peaks and valleys represent opposites and their balance. The repeated sine wave reveals the presence of multiple opposites and signifies the ever-present order underlying all of life.
